This all began when we, Shaun and Ben, 
started looking for an adventure bolt hole in the great outdoors. Already well travelled we investigated possibilities in Australia, New Zealand, Namibia and, Shaun’s birth country Zimbabwe, before turning our attention closer to our current home in Europe.
We spent time in the Alps, lovely but commercial and busy! By comparison the Pyrenees felt like a less explored playground, more raw and just as beautiful. We fell in love with the terrain, every valley with a different personality! We bought our bolt hole! An off grid barn in the middle of the National Park under the shadow of Pic du Midi.
And what a playground! Road cycling, mountain biking, winter sports, hiking, wild swimming, parapente, healing spa towns, the pilgrimage to Lourdes and Compostelle, or simply just an amazing place to recharge the soul in … you call it, it’s here in the valleys! We’ve been playing and learning what the area has to offer for over 15 years now and 6 years ago decided we wanted to set up a venue that we could share all that we are passionate about with others … so we bought a run down old building in an amazing location and have spent the last 6 years renovating with the help of a dedicated team.
So that is how Unstoppable Pyrenees was born … today it is a base for whatever activity you can dream up … and if you can’t dream it up then let us help to dream it up for you!
